Monster Trucks

Here in this first picture, it is of all my girlfriends that I grew up with in Bountiful. I call them my home ward girlfriends. We were in the same church class for years and made tons of good memories. We still get together once or twice a year or for showers and I am so grateful we do. It just goes to show that when you have a good young womans class and teachers that we can survive anything and stick together! It's also nice to know that these girls genuinely care about you too! As you can see three out of the five of us girls are pregnant. We had a duel baby shower for Mallory and Stephanie. Mallory is having a boy and Stephanie is having a girl. I am so excited for them and can't wait for Nikki and Angie to be added to the family fun soon! I just have to say how much I love these girls and what a great example they have been to me throughout these years! Thanks girls ya'll are amazing!
Next are pictures of our Monster Truck adventure. Dallas had worked aton this week so we decided that we needed to take Cohen and him out because Cohen is missing his Daddy like crazy! The day before I swear Cohen hated me, as soon as he wakes up in the morning he searches the house for Dallas and then when he woke up from his nap he was in tears because Daddy wasn't home and I couldn't get him to calm down. So we had to drive up to Dal's work and watch him work on his trucks. Cohen just loves his Daddy so much! I was so glad that we got half of a day to spend together. We took Cohen to the monster truck show because he loves monster trucks, that and dirt bikes are his favorite toys! I don't know if he exactly knew what to think he didn't say much at first and just watched it was almost too much for him to take in. Towards the end I think he would have rather just played with is monster trucks, it was funny. We still had a good time though. At the show Dallas' friend Dave Johnson raced his razor, so that was really exciting and the best part was he won! It was fun to be cheering on one of our friends at the event and then to see him on the screen being interviewed. So go Dave you did awesome!
I just have to say how happy I am, after 2 months of nagging Dallas to find time to finish Cohen's soon to be new room, it is now finished. Bead board is up and painted and the walls are painted. I am quite pleased, and I"m happy I don't have to be that nagging wife anymore! So I will soon have pictures of the room once I get it all together! I am so grateful that I have such a talented husband who can do all these great things even if it takes 2 months, it still looks amazing and that's what matters. So thanks Dallas love you lots!
As for our little baby in the oven she is doing great! I just love her so much and can't wait to meet her! She just kicks and moves around in there, it's funny how they always move around lots right when your trying to go to bed. But to me it's my bonding time with her I love to watch my belly move I know it's weird but I love it! However she I swear is sitting further back than Cohen did, because my back kills and I did not experience this kind of back pain with him. Sometimes I can barely walk because it hurts so bad! I wish I could just cut out the pain or better yet I wish I could cut off my belly sometimes and give it to Dallas for the day! Now that would be a sight to see, I would love to have him go to work and about his daily business and have to feel what I feel!

Trip to Kentucky

We have had a great past couple weeks. To start the pictures off we went to Rocky Mountain Raceway for the 24th of July to watch Josh dirt bike race. Last year the fireworks were so good that we still decided to go even though Dallas couldn't race himself. But we still had fun, I just love fireworks and Cohen just laid in Dallas' lap and watched them it was cute.

Here we have been redoing one of our rooms to transform it into Cohen's new bedroom. I am just going to keep the nursery how it is, I did it neutral so it would go for a boy and girl. So we will put our baby girl in there and then move Cohen into his new bedroom. Dallas has put up bead board and has just been working in there. Well one day Cohen just grabbed his hammer and screwdriver and ran in there and just started hitting the wall like daddy it was so cute. I wasn't fast enough to get that part recorded but I got him helping with a paint brush it was so cute. He is such a big helper!

Below begins our pictures of our trip to Kentucky. We decided to go visit my dad in Kentucky this year because he was not able to come out to Utah. So me and Cohen made the trek out there. I was so nervous to take a two year old on an airplane and being pregnant. But we actually did pretty good. He would just sit there and watch his movies or eat snacks. He started to have a hard time at the end but we made it! The hardest part was just walking from gate to gate carrying diaper bag, purse and trying to get Cohen to walk. I bought him a little back pack with a leash to help me because I don't want to lose him but I want him to walk right next to me and he did pretty good!

When we got there my dad took us to their little town where they have all sorts of cute shops and little restraunts. We ate at one and waited for the train to come. While we were waiting Cohen was playing with the pig he would help him hold his plate and then fall and you would have to say Cohen are you ok and then he would go I"m fine. He thought it was a fun little game and kept playing it. We were all laughing at him. The train comes down the middle of the street. Cohen loved it he just kept looking for it and loved it when it came. Then we went and got some ice cream. It sure was a nice night. The next day we went to the Lousiville zoo and we had a blast. I loved their zoo it was so nice. We could get a lot closer to the animals to see them and there was so much to see. Cohen had such a great time. He absolutely loved the penguins. They were swimming and jumping in and out of the water right in front of Cohen. I loved watching him squeel when they swam by and they would swim so fast that he just couldn't quite keep up with them. One of the nights we had a bonfire in my dad's back yard and it was sure relaxing. Cohen was so cute while we were there he helped pick tomatos and cucumbers out of their garden, then he helped wash them in the sink and then he was finally able to eat them. He loves tomatoes, he was eating them like they were candy. I love what a great helper he is and how much fun he has helping in the garden. Everything they did he would copy. He watched them water flowers so one day he grabbed the watering can ran to the front and put the hose in it and said water flowers. I thought it was so cute. (I'm sorry my writing is not in line with the pictures for some odd reason I can't get it to go above or under the pictures I want it, I am quite irritated) Anyways we had a great time and Cohen just loved everyone there. He fell in love with Sam and Tavane and would just always ask for them and follow them around. Thanks to all of you for helping me with Cohen and letting my little tornado into your home. We sure had fun and hope you guys did. On the way home Cohen did so good. The first flight he just watched Cars and the second one he finished the movie and then he fell asleep for the last two hours. Then we finally went to find daddy. Alot of the trip he kept saying go find Daddy so it was nice when were were finally able to go find him. He saw him and I let him down and he just ran to Dallas. It was such a precious moment, they love eachother so much and I'm sure Dallas was happy to have his little side kick back. While we were gone my husband was so good he was probably up every night till 2 in the morning working on Cohen's room he sprayed lacquer on the bead board. I felt so he was probably so tired and the smell or fumes irritated his eyes and just him in general. But I'm glad it was done while me and Cohen were gone. He also surprised me with getting our carpets clean which we have both been wanting for awhile. I am so thankful for a thoughtful hardworking husband. He takes such good care of us. We are still trying to rest from the trip because it wore us out but man it was fun.
While we were gone my brother and sister n law had the second child. They had Cooper Vincent Cottrell Saturday morning he was 8 lbs and 3 ounces. He is such a bundle of joy. We were finally able to go meet him monday night after dal got home from work. He is so adorable. I can't believe how tiny babies are. I just wanted to squeeze him he was so cute. Cohen also instantly fell in love with him. Dallas held him and Cohen helped Cohen would put his arms up and say I hold him it was precious and he just would look at him and smile and giggle. He loved him to death it made me so excited to have our baby and bring our little bundle of joy into our home. I already know that Cohen will be such a great big brother and helper. I can't wait, it's just too bad I still have 4 more months to go! uhhh oh well.
The last couple pictures are of my little helper helping me mow the lawn. I love him more than anything and am so glad he chose to come to our home!
