Kenzley is sure turning into a funny little thing. Her and Cohen are always fighting over his couch. The other day as they were fighting over it Kenzley stuck out her arm and pushed Cohen right off. I was laughing so hard but Cohen didn't find it as amusing. Kenzley is always so proud when she gets to sit it in. And you got to love her messy morning hair! Now Kenzley loIves brushing her teeth with Daddy's toothbrush. If she sees that he is brushing his teeth she crawls in there as fast as she can and climbs up on his legs with her hand up waiting to be picked up. I still can't believe what a daddy's girl she has turned into. The other night Cohen was eating a ring pop and started sharing it with Kenzley. She loved it. Needless to say we had to get her own sucker. This past weekend has been quite a busy weekend for us. Dallas' sister's husband was diagnosed with bone cancer about two weeks ago. They scheduled a surgery to remove the tumor and such on November 19th. They brought the kids up Thursday night to stay at our house. These kids I cannot brag enough about. I know I have in prior blogs but they really are amazing, sweet, well behaved kids. That night we played some guitar hero and then they played on iphones, ipods, and some other device I'm not as familiar with. Cohen was in heaven having them there and playing with their gadgets. Dakota even slept with Cohen and he was so excited. While their dad was going to be in the hospital for quite awhile. I decided we should go to build a bear and make one and have Louie record a message to each of the kids and surprise them. The kids were so cute and excited to build their bears. It was a fun experience and I loved the messages in the bears to them, so sweet. Me and Dallas even said a message for Cohen and Kenzley's bears. Chloe kissing the heart and making a wish. Dakota and his jazz bear. Dakota is so sweet, on the car ride home he got pretty car sick and threw up all over his bear. He was so sad so then grandma took him to build a bear again and they took the voice box out and he built a new bear. Poor kid. Cohen hugging his bear to make sure it was just right. Rubbing the heart in his head so his bear will be smart. Cohen making a wish. Cohen kissing his heart. Now Cohen washing his bear. Oakley kissing her heart. Oakley washing her frog! It was so cute and she named it Lily. Kenzley hugging her bear making sure it was perfect. Kenzley kissing the heart. Cohen showing off his Jazz bear that he named Blue. All of the kids and their stuffed animals at the hospital. Poor Louie and Stacy had a long day. His surgery was over 13 hours long and Stacy waited in the waiting room the entire time along with other family members. It amazed me with all the love and support from family members. It reminds me how important family is and how amazing the family is that I have married into. We sure love Louie alot and look up to him and admire him. He is an amazing father figure and loves his family very much. It shows through his kids because again I have said it a million times they are great kids and have great parents! Louie's surgery went well but of course he feels like crap. Recovery is going to be a long and hard road. Right now he is still in the hospital and hopefully will be out in time for Thanksgiving. I'm sure he will still be in alot of pain when he comes home but it will be nice to have him around.
It's that time of year again for family pictures! Even though it's cold I think that fall gives some of the most beautiful outdoor pictures. I love the vibrant colors between the leaves and grass and all the surroundings. This year I was starting to stress about pictures because I thought we were too late. Also this year for Dallas' sake I didn't want to spend an outrageous amount like last year! I kept looking around and then realized my neighbor loves to take pictures so I asked her. I think she did a fabulous job! I am beyond pleased with them! So I'm sure there will be a picture overload this post but I loved all of them! Thank you to Nan who took the time to shoot our family. She is an amazing woman! At first Cohen did not want to smile he was being such a turkey and as for Kenzley we could never really get her to crack a smile but at least she wasn't crying! Next month I am going to get her one year pictures and cant wait I have some cute ideas and hope they turn out! Cohen did not like it when me and Dal were getting out pictures taken without him! These photos are priceless! Again thank you Nan we love them!
Dallas and I met on June 25, 2006 and it was love at first sight. I had just moved to Branbury apartments in Provo where I was scared by a loud noise in the parking lot, and the maker of the loud noise that took me off guard was Dallas Jackman. We ended up talking late into the night about everything. It soon became history from there, we started hanging out everyday and I went along on Dallas' crazy adventures like the late nights to the dunes and the trips up AF canyon. We went to Disneyland short while later and that is where we fell in love. Aterwards we decided to tie the knot and we have had out happily ever after and continue to.
