4th of July Festivities

One day we decided to hike Stewart Falls. It has been a hike that I have been wanting to do for awhile, and we don't go on too many hikes so on one of our free days we took advantage of it and had a great time. The kids did great too they didn't complain at all. Granted I did carry Brinley half the way and Kenz some of it but it was a nice work out!

Brinley has found out how to get into my cupboards.
On the 3rd of July I was back and forth all day as to whether or not on going up to Bountiful for EagleWoods fireworks. It's a good drive up there and I knew I wouldn't get home till after midnight. After all day of thinking about it and waiting for Dallas to come home so I could fix him dinner, me and the Kenz decided to go. The boys didn't want to go and were cleaning their dirtbikes and I did not want to stay home and watch them when I knew I could have more fun somewhere else and Kenz wanted to go to. So me and the girls hopped in the car and headed up there.
My brother Cory always goes up early and gets a really good spot on the golf course that is seriously right under where they shoot off the fireworks. It seriously was one of the best firework shows I have ever been. So now we need to go up there every year on the 3rd!

I seriously forgot how beautiful it is up there.

 Brinley and Lee playing together!

Trying to get a picture of these three. Not an easy task.
Brinley absolutely Loved the fireworks. She would point at them and giggle and clap. I am so glad we went up there even if we sat in traffic for an hour and a half after!
The next morning we got Dallas to go to seven peaks with us. It's always more fun when dad can come!
 They were pooped afterwards.
That night I scored a good deal on Stadium of Fire tickets. Carrie Underwood was performing and she is one of me and Dallas' favorites. I was so excited to go.

These were trampolinist and they were phenomenal. It was crazy the stuff they did!
Then Carrie Underwood performed and she is just fabulous! Seriously one of my favorite concerts ever!

Oh and the fireworks were pretty good too! I had such a great time with Dallas that night! I told him he could use that for our anniversary present in December! hahaha

Bear Lake

Every year me and the kids try to go up to Bear Lake just me and them. I love going up there and spending time with them and my grandparents. It's actually not too big of a chore to be alone with the kids without Dallas because my Grandma is so helpful. She cooks and cleans up even if I try to help she still insists that I rest and enjoy my kids. I can not thank her enough for how sweet she is! We always have such a blast and I am so grateful that my kids can go up there and make memories with their great grandparents. I love that my Grandma will get down and play with them, it means the world to my kids and they will remember and cherish these moments.
Brin playing with the my dad's old match box cars.
The kids would race and race around these trees and Brinley even tried to keep up with them.

Beautiful sunset. I love this lake it is gorgeous!

 A day playing games!

Walking through the muck out to the beach.

I love these three seriously so much!
Kenzley was so funny. She told my grandparents all about her imaginary husband, Awesomest Dirtbiker and her 28 kids. She kept telling story after story to them. We were getting a kick out of her. It's amazing how quick witted she is!

 Playing matchbox cars.

Who doesn't like to play on the beach?!
 Making sand angels

 Kids with my grandparents.
Aren't they the cutest couple you have ever seen! I can only hope me and Dallas will be this cute someday!

As always we had a great vacation in Bear Lake!
