Disneyland!

So many friends, family and neighbors have been going to disneyland this past month and it has been killing me because I have wanted to take my kids back so bad. Especially now that Carsland is there and we have not seen it. I kept asking Dallas and he kept telling me no because we are having a baby so that's what we need to be saving up all of our money for which is so true. But then Cohen came home from school one day with the Get Away Today magazine and they had some amazing deals that I could just not pass up. I wasn't able to book the same time that my brother's family was going but the weekend after which was a bummer but I was just glad to be going. Me and Dallas made some compromises so this trip could be possible. I have been saving up all of my birthday money and babysitting money for bunkbeds but I said I could use that money for the trip and I got the hotel and tickets for less than $900 and I have about $600 saved so not bad. Then we decided to make it a short trip we would drive out Thursday and go to disneyland Friday and Saturday and come home Sunday since Dallas is so slammed with work. I was beyond thrilled that I finally got Dallas to say yes! And I felt like it would be fun for us to have one last family trip as a family of four since things will never be like this again once we have another baby! Plus I have been going crazy being cooped up in the house with my two kids and Dallas has been working his butt off way to much so we all needed a fun break! And I am so glad it all worked out. The weather was absolutely perfect. It was in the eighty's and it wasn't even that busy for Disneyland. I could not have asked for a better weekend! Also my kids did amazing on the drive out. I got them some Princess Sopfia figurines and Wreck it Ralph so they played with those the entire way out. We only had to put in one movie and that was right before we got to the hotel. I was so impressed with how good they were! We also decided to surprise the kids and did not tell them until a half hour before we left! Kenz was jumping up and down she was so excited and so was Cohen!

On the shuttle bus to disneyland! We got there and as I'm trying to get the tickets I realized I left my  drivers license back at the hotel so the lady would not give us our tickets since I bought them under my name. The ticket lady gave me quite a lecture about us Utah women how we don't have any urgency to keep our licenses on us. Well I definitely learned my lesson and I felt bad that I made Dallas run back to the hotel and back and I wasted an hour of our day where we needed to get in there fast so that we could get a fast pass for cars land. Luckily as soon as we got in there I ran over to where the fast passes were and they still had some so I got us fast passes for the new cars ride for 6:35 pm!

Us waiting for Daddy to come back with my Drivers license.

Once I met up with Dallas and the kids Dallas decided to take Cohen on Tower of Terror. Which before we even got in there I said if you take Cohen on that ride you need to do it the last day and one of the last rides so it doesn't ruin the trip for Cohen. One year we went with our neice who did that ride and came off of it crying and didn't want to do any other rides the rest of the time. So I was afraid Cohen would react the same way because he isn't the most adventurous kid.  But Dallas decided to take him anyway. Luckily he didn't cry, he was scared and doesn't want to do that ride again but it didn't ruin the trip for him. I was so proud of him! While they did that me and Kenz went and did some of the bugs life rides. She loved them!

We did alot of waiting in lines. But they really weren't that bad.
Here we are on the new Mater ride with the tractors.

Kenz likes to be a terd sometimes and will only do things when she wants to so she didn't want to be in pictures. Hence why you will see the back of her head alot!

Walking down mainstreet in Cars Land. It was so amazing! They did a wonderful job! It was definitely Cohen's favorite place!

The kids loved Luigi's Tires. Dallas and Kenz were cruising around. It was fun bumping into eachother. I think this was one of Kenzley's favorite rides!

There's Red we didn't get a picture with him because we wanted to get a picture with Lightening McQueen instead. But I had to at least get a picture of him!
Eating some lunch at Flow Gas Station! I'm so glad we bring our own lunches it saves so much more money and it's good food and we have snacks the whole day!
The kids meeting Lightening McQueen Kachow!
Sally's Cozy Cones
Flows Gas Station

We had to get a picture of Stanley too! Then we went over to check out where the cars ride was and while we were walking around some lady came up to us and said she had extra fast passes if we wanted to go with them right then we could, so of course Dallas said yes and him and Cohen went. Kenz was so bummed that she was too short to ride so I hurried and took her back to Lugi's Tires which wasn't a long line. Then Dallas came back with the parent switch pass and said it wasn't too bad for me to go on so I got to take Cohen too and it was a really cool ride! Definitely Cohen's favorite!

We got to meet Donald!

Kenzley loved this ride!

Cohen was my ride buddy! Kenz was tied to Dallas' hips the whole trip so me and Cohen went on all the rides together. It was so much fun!
We found this Buzz hoodie and knew Kenz would love it but they didn't have one in her size. They did have Buzz jammies that we ended up getting that night when she got cold.
We went to ride the Ferris Wheel because we have never done that ride before. Once we were on it though we saw Jessie from a distance who is one of Kenzley's favorite characters and I think all of us wished we could get off that ride so we could go meet Jessie! Kenzley was screaming trying to get Jessies attention but we just couldn't. We had to wait till the ride was over and by time it was Jessie was gone but Woody was there!

Then we even got to see Buzz Lightyear!

Next we got to see the parade and it was so nice since it wasn't crowded we could see and not too many people were right by us so we had plenty of room. Kenzley was even dancing having a great time! I think that's the girliest I have ever seen her. It was adorable! She was loving it and eating every bit of it up!

Little Mermaid
This is when me and Cohen went with our fast passes.
Luckily Kenz zonked out which was good timing since she didn't know she missed that ride.

Waiting to watch World of Colors which is me and Dallas' new favorite thing. We didn't get fast passes so we didn't have good seat and couldn't see much but the fountain show is still amazing. We decided to leave before it was over so we could beat the crowds. Once we got out and were waiting for our shuttle we even got to see Disneyland's firework show which was fun. We got back to the hotel and Dallas hurried to get us Wendys. We had been so busy and kept saying one more ride that we were awful parents and didn't get dinner but it kind of worked out. Wendy's was only $8 for all of us which was so much cheaper that eating at the park. We bathed and all passed out!

The next morning I was up bright and early but my family was having a hard time waking up so we didn't get to the park as early as I would have liked!
Right when we walked in we saw Mickey and Minnie but they were ending their line, so we went to Plutos!

We always do Buzz Lightyear first since it's my kids favorite and the line was only like 10 mins long if that so we did it a couple of times.

Last time we went to Disneyland Cohen saw this Jedi training and he wanted to do it so we told him next time we went we could. So this was next time. We got there in time and were waiting but they cancelled the training and were only going to do a meet and greet. Here we are waiting in line to meet them. I think the kids miss their dad alot when he works so much because they would not let go of him this whole trip! Poor guy was constantly getting malled by them, at least they are cute!

Silly Kenz she would get her pictures taken with the bad guys but not the good guys.

While Dallas and Cohen went and did Space Mountain me and Kenzley waited in the line for Finding Nemo. It was so nice that there was dirt for her to play with so I didn't have to hold her the whole time. She was so entertained making temples it was nice!
Last time we were in Disneyland Kenz fell asleep in this line so she doesn't remember the ride. This time she was awake and loved every second of it. I wish I had recorded her the whole ride she was so funny.

As soon as we got off that ride, they were just starting the jedi training so we hurried in and sat down practically front row. They started picking kids to go up and fight and Cohen was one of the kids they picked. We were so excited for him. Kenzley totally chickened out and didn't want to fight the bad guys which is so funny since that's all she ever talks about is fighting and kicking the bad guys. Cohen got up there and was kind of in his own little world but I'm sure he loved it. When he fought Darth Vador I was so proud of him ad it was such a great moment to watch since we knew how much he has wanted to do this!

Kenzie not wanting her picture taken again. We went straight to Toon Town next and saw Goofy. Of course Kenz was still being onry so she didn't want her picture taken with him either and was hiding behind me so then Goofy started hiding behind Cohen I thought it was super cute!

Waiting in line for the goofy roller coaster ride.

Next we went to meet Mickey and walked through his fun house.

Of course right before it's our turn Kenzley falls asleep. And so did Dallas pretty much.

Kenzley stayed asleep for quite awhile. Here is a picture of her sleeping with one eye open. While she slept I sat on the street and got a spot for the parade while Dallas and Cohen rode the Matorhorn ride.

All of us riding in the Peter Pan ride! We didn't get near as much accomplished at Disneyland that day. We totally just ran out of time. The kids decided they wanted to go ride Monsters Inc one more time and Toy Store Mania and that's where Cohen wanted his one toy he could get. So we headed over there.

We walked into the line for Toy Store Mania and it was a 45 minute wait but as soon as walked in this Hispanic family yelled at us and started saying, "Hey we haven't seen you all day come up with us so we can hang out for a bit." So we did and ended up waiting 5 minutes. They were a super nice family, from the area and we enjoyed talking to them and were so appreciative that they picked us to skip the whole line. They had decided they wanted to make a family happy and help them out, I'm so glad it was us! Here is my kids with there two boys, they became instant friends.

We decided to watch World of Color one more time from the back side. It's still amazing no matter where you watch it.

Then we headed back to the hotel. And that was the end of our quick trip. We drove home the next day. I am so glad we were able to go even though it was super fast, it was just the break we all needed. Even Dallas when we got home said he had so much fun and was so glad we went (even though I had to fight him on it and will probably next trip) but at least he always ends up having a blast! I definitely can't wait till we can go back another time and hopefully spend more than 2 days there!
Here are some pictures that Dallas took from his phone!

Candice Birthday and St. George Race

Kenzley has such a hard time going and staying in her bed lately. So this is her one of the nights she made it as far as into the hallway!
Well I am another year older. This year I turned 28 and I wanted to go to dinner at the Olive Garden for their salad and of course their dessert which is my favorite! We invited some of our friends in our neighborhood and had a great time out to dinner. Kenzley was extra lovey to me that day and was my best friend. Don't mind my belly in this picture. I am a little over 4 months along.

Afterwards we came back to our house watched some supercross got in our comfy clothes and had cake and ice cream. Here again Kenz was my friend helping me blow out all 28 candles!

Dallas was invited to race in this side by side race down in St. George so he called up his crew and they all went down to St. George. One of his friends has a car dealership so he has a semi that he can transport vehicles so they loaded up 9 rzrs onto the semi and off they went. It was quite nice to not have to take our rzr down and just drive down in my car. We got down there friday night got some Ihop then off to the hotel to check in. We promised the kids they could go swimming so we hurried and let the kids swim and went to bed. The next morning Dallas left early for his race and I left as soon as me and the kids woke up.
Dallas did an amazing job in race.  In the Unlimited class Dallas took off like a rocket and got the hole shot!  Joey was on his tail eating massive amounts of dust!  Dallas lead the first three of four laps and then Joey robbed Dallas of his glory and passed him on the inside of a corner! In one of the downhill jumps the whole crowd gasped as they thought Dallas was going to take a nose dive!  Way to go guys! Then next race was the Sportsmans class there was also a ton of RZR's lined up.  They all took off and everyone got bunched up in the first corner.  Dallas and Jeremy got into each other and Dallas ran Jeremy over.  In the blink of an eye Jeremy was at a dead stop!  When Dallas' back tire went over Jeremy's front it ripped his steering wheel out of his hand and shattered Jeremy's thumb.  Dallas felt horrible! Devin Brower rode with Dallas in this race and thought he could take it!  About half way through it Devin started flailing his arms around telling Dallas "Im going to throw up!!!"  Dallas the nice person that he is slowed down to 30 and let him puke!  Devin didn't realize he had a motorcross helmet on with a mouth guard!  HAHAHAHA it didn't go very far!  Then when they got back to the motorcross track Dallas kicked Devin out and finished the race!  It was very dusty but Dallas finished in second place!  Now Devin is called COOKIE!  The group took home a ton of the trophies!  Way to go guys!

The kids had a blast playing with eachother especially in the dirt and rocks. They kept themselves entertained the whole time and had a lot of fun.
Here is Kenz taking a quick break! Silly Girl!

After the races we were all exhausted, filthy and starving. We decided to go straight for dinner since as usual Dallas forgot to eat breakfast and lunch. For some reason whenever he is out playing or racing he forgets to eat and it drives me crazy because it's so bad for him. We went straight to Red Robbins and it was delicious! Kenzley was still so tired so she slept through some of dinner in Daddy's arms.
The next day us, Rory, and Eli went to Sand Hollow to do some more riding. We were the only RZR's that were either working good or the driver didn't get hurt at the race. It was a fairly warm day and was nice to be out in the sun. Sadly though that morning I had thrown up so I wasn't feeling great and the driving fast at the sand dunes didn't sit too well with me. Luckily the other two guys with us had kids so we stopped for awhile and let the kids just play and jump down the sand dunes. They had a blast. After that we went to find some rock crawling and did a little bit of that. Now that part I could handle and didn't make me sick! All and all we had a successful trip. We got out of the nasty inversion where we lived, got some sun, kids played, Dallas raced safely and none of us got hurt! Not bad for us!
One weekend my girlfriend Kaedawn came down from Treemonton and her and her son Braxton spent the night. It's always fun to have her come and visit and our kids get along really well. They had a sleep over together in Cohen's bed, so cute!
I wish this picture was better but it is of Dallas getting home from work giving Kenzley flowers for Valentines day. So precious!
Here I am about 20 weeks prego! Oh and by the way if you haven't heard we are having another little girl! We found out January 28th. Me and Dallas took the kids because they have been excited as to what the sex would be. They both really wanted a brother. That morning on the way to Cohen's school I asked him one more time and he said, "Well I want a little brother but I know it's a girl" I was surprised to hear that but he was pretty sure of it. Me I thought for sure it was going to be a boy I just have always thought I would have another boy. I would like a girl but I thought for sure it was a boy! We go there started the ultrasound and looked at everything to make sure the baby was healthy and she was. I love getting an ultra sound and seeing everything, the brain, their spine, hearing and seeing the heart beat. It's an amazing experience. Then the doctor asked if we wanted to know the sex and of course we do and she gets to the picture and says what do you think. I was looking for the boy part and was not seeing it and then Dallas goes it's a girl and the doctor says yep it's a girl! I was excited! Kenzley however was not! She goes No it's a boy I don't want a sister I want a baby brother. She kept saying it over and over again. And the doctor would say no it's a girl and I can't change it! Cohen was pretty disappointed as well but not near as much as Kenz was. On our way home I asked Cohen what he thought and he said, "I hope she's not mean, sassy, and bugs me like Kenzley does" I was laughing so hard! Then I said to Kenz, "I have always wanted a sister I'm so happy you get one" And Kenz says, "I'm not I wanted a brother!" So this may take some time to get use to but I was super excited! We keep asking Kenzley what we should name her and so far it's been, Justin Bieber, Pumpkin, and little cupcake. Silly girl! I can't wait to add another little girl however I am a little with Cohen and hope she is not as sassy as Kenz!
Kenzley loves building things she is constantly saying she is building temples. Here she is one night building one of her many temples. I loved how she had to get up on a stool to keep adding to the top and that it was as tall as she is! She was sure proud of herself!
