Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope everyone had a fun Easter, I know I did this year! I don't think I have celebrated the Easter Bunny for years so it was fun to bring him back! Saturday we went to our wards easter egg hunt. When we got there Cohen found a ball and he was having a blast with it so he didn't pay too much attention to the eggs.  Finally we told him to put the eggs away in his basket and he started to get the hang of it. Like most things once they get the hang of it, it's all over. I did have fun taking him to the hunt and watching him.

Here are some pictures of his Easter Basket and what he got. He got a cars plate set, Tarzan movie, water guns, bubble gun, sunglasses, coloring book, cars gummy vitamins (As many of my friends know I love gummy vitamins so I had to get my kid some), pajamas and glow in the dark star that we will put in his bedroom ceiling.

Cohen walking in and seeing his basket. As soon as I finished taking this picture he got a huge grin on his face but I didn't capture it :( He went first for his car jammies and he grabbed them and laid down and wanted us to put them on him. He loves car and he loves elmo and cookie monster. He even has stuffed animals of them and he always has to have them to go to bed.

Then he saw an egg and opened it and realized that there was chocolate in them and of course like any kid that thrilled him. That began the easter egg hunt inside. He was so fun to watch look for them. He would always grab them and give to Daddy so he could get more candy

Here are some pictures of our Easter outfits. Me growing up as a kid we always got easter outfits and got pictures before we went to church. Here is just Cohen and I. I didn't dare church shop for Dallas, because I would get him a pink or purple tie or something like that and he would hate it. And lets face it men just aren't as into the outfits and taking pictures and stuff like that. So I just made Dallas take a picture of me and Cohen.

Well I hope Everyone had a great Easter. It is so fun having kids to be able to do these special traditions for!

Finally Pictures

We have been able to do many fun things and here are a few pictures from these events. This top picture we decided to introduce Cohen to the potty and he has done really well with it. He knows what it is and I don't know if he knows how to use it yet but that's alright. I just didn't want him to be afraid or it so we introduced him and he sits on it and has been close a couple of times to peeing in it but I'm just going to probably wait a little bit longer! But he sure does love his potty!

You can tell that Daddy is always on the phone talking business or texting. I love the face on Cohen it cracks me up.
We have taken Cohen a couple of times to Jump on it or Kangaroo Zoo where there are huge blow up toys that the kids can jump on and slide down. Cohen absolutely loves it! He is always in heaven when we go there and I love watching him run from place to place and seeing the excitement in his eyes. I think as a mother that is one of the coolest things is to watch how excited they get and see the pure joy they get out of life.

Here Cohen is getting one of his many hair cuts from Daddy, and this time I even tried to do it so I'm getting more brave hopefully one day I can do it myself!
Cohen has a think with thinking that everything is a trailer. In the movie Cars he just loves Mack who is Lightening McQueens trailer. Cohen also has little match box trailers as well and with all those toys and other cars he tries to turn everything into a trailer.  One day he was playing with his fourwheeler and his blue car and somehow he came up with the idea that he was going to pull in blue car with his fourwheeler, so here are some pictures of him trying. He would get so frustrated when he would put the car up on it and then he would get on his four wheeler and drive away but the car would never stay on it it would just fall off and he would get so upset and frustrated but he would keep trying over and over again.  Finally I had enough and put it away but later dad came home and made it so that the car would stay and he could pull it.

Here is a trip of us at the dunes. Cohen had so much fun playing on the machines and also in the sand. He would take a shovel full of sand and lift it up above his head and then dump it on himself. He was so dirty. One of the pictures is of Ben beating up my husband after they had a roosting fight with their four wheelers. Dallas won the four wheeler fight but Ben definitely won the physical fight. I was laughing pretty hard.

We also love to go to the zoo with July and Cayman it's always a nice break from the day to day chores that we are usually doing so here are some pictures from our last visit to the zoo!

In these pictures Cohen loves to play the piano and sing. I love listening to him hopefully one day the slamming on the piano will actually turn into music and his screeching will turn into singing, until then I will enjoy these moments.
Cohen loves snack time if he could he would probably snack on food all day. He is starting to sit at the big table on a chair and drink from a real cup. To me that is a huge milestone, those may seem like the simplest things to most, but to a two year old and their mother it's huge and means that they are growing up on me!
Here is Cohen watching his favorite movie Cars. I can't tell you how many times we watch that movie. For awhile as soon as he woke up and would get out in the family room he would point up to the tv and say cars on cars on, and we would watch it twice a day everyday. He loves that movie. Also when we are driving on the freeway and he sees trailers he goes Mack wait Mack wait, because that's what Lightening Mcqueen says when he gets bounced out of Mack and is trying to chase him!

In this above video there are quite a few things that Cohen does that cracks me up. At the beginning of the video if you notice he is taking these deep breathes and sighs it's so funny when he does this and then he looks down and gives you puppy eyes. Right after he is pulling up his shorts, which is so funny that is what he did when we first put his shorts on him this year. We couldn't stop laughing. At the end of the video he goes and sits in front of the fireplace and thats where he talks to the little boy in his reflection. Many days he will be sitting there just a giggling it is Precious!
Above is him pulling his trailer around!
I cannot tell you how much joy and laughter Cohen brings to our family. Without him we would feel lost, and life would be so boring! It's amazing how much you can truly love someone. I also have to say how grateful I am for Dallas. He literally is one of the most amazing men I have ever met. He is a great husband and father, and  what he is doing with this business just blows my mind. I could never take on that kind of task and he has done a superb job! I can't say enough how proud I am of him for following his dreams and he is starting to turn them into realities I am so lucky to be his wife!
