Cohen's first dirtbike race and more

A few weeks ago we went to the sand dunes and camped. We all had so much fun because it had been awhile since we have gone and the kids are always begging to go to the sand dunes pretty much daily. The weather was great that weekend too! We parked on the harder packed dirt side so Dallas bought a little pool and went and got some sand and put in it so that the kids could still play in the sand and they both were in seventh heaven!
Cohen got to ride his dirt bike alot. It was nice because there was a big area right behind us that he could ride in circles so he did that for a very long time! He loved it!

Kenzley of course had to go for a ride too!
The other nigh me and Dallas last minute decided to sign Cohen up for dirt bike racing. They started the very next night so we aren't too prepared but had to hurry and find him some dirtbike boots and he will have to wear pants and my pink goggles (lucky him) until his birthday when he get get some of the riding gear. Cohen has been wanting to race dirt bikes for a long time now so he was so excited. The day of he kept asking every hour if it was time yet to go and race. We got up there and had to give them his birth certificate and sign some papers and off to practice we went.
Here he is getting ready in his gear for practice. I loved watching him get his gloves on he is getting so big!
Had to get a picture of him next to his bike!
Daddy and Cohen watching the other kids practice. It's nice because they do it on Thursday nights just for kids so it's not as intimidating as when they race on the friday nights with Dallas and all the other big guys. The ages are 4 to 16 years old.
Cohen had so many people come and support him and it meant alot to him. Cory, Cayman and Cooper got there and Cohen was so excited because it has been awhile since we have seen them. Cayman was so cute she thought it was amazing that Cohen was riding dirt bikes even though he is still so little. It was fun to see them play with eachother. Then CJ, Jackie and Jackson came, My mom and Dallas' mom came and our friends Devin, Tanessa, Mathias, Azlyn and Asher came. It is seriously so nice of everyone that came to take time out of their day to drive there and pay to get in so Thank you Thank you it meant the world to Cohen to have everyone there cheering him on!

Cayman and Cohen aren't they so cute!

 Waiting at the starting gate
 And off they go!
Cohen did pretty well. The practice was pretty confusing for him because he has never been on the track before. It's a pretty big track and they cut it in half because they have a upper section that the kids bikes couldn't make it up so they are suppose to have flaggers in those spots to block the kids from going up there and directing them where to go. But the flaggers weren't very good so there was a few times where Cohen would go up the wrong hill and go the wrong way and one time he even went up the big hill over the bridge which they weren't suppose to and I'm surprised he even made it up it. All of a sudden I saw Dallas take off running as fast as he could to stop Cohen but by time he caught him Cohen was at the top of the bridge. A couple of the times Cohen would get to the top of a little hill and stop and look around because he didn't know where to go. Or if there was a kid that would crash in front of him he would stop and wait for them to get up before he would go. I thought that was sweet but we had to tell him you have to go around them and keep going. He did it and didn't crash and made it to the finish line and we are so proud of him!

Here he is stopped and looking around not knowing where to go.
This is the bridge he went up that he wasn't suppose to.

The first race he did better he got confused a couple times and waited for some of the kids to wreck but still he didn't crash and made it through!
Here Kenzley is cheering him on.

The second race he did even better he only got confused once and cut some of the track but he never stopped not even once and made it to the finish line with no wrecks! We even heard the announcer announce Cohen Jackman wearing the go pro crosses the finish line. I thought it was so cute to hear that. The best part of this night was at the very end when we had gotten home me and Dallas were watching Cohen's go pro which was great to see his point of view and I can totally understand why he got lost because I wouldn't have known where to go either. But at the very end of the race right after he crossed the finish line and was driving off the track you hear Cohen's sweet voice say, "I knew I could do it" Both me and Dallas looked at eachother and I about started to cry because it was priceless. It was adorable how proud of himself he was for doing it and making it across the finish line. We are so proud of Cohen for getting out there and doing it and knowing that he had the time of his life!

Cohen was beyond thrilled when he received his third place trophy at the end of the night!

Kenzley kissing him and saying good job!
The next day I was able to go on Cohen's field trip with them to Thanksgiving Point it was alot of fun to be able to be there with his class!

Cohen loves help Kenzley down from places and I love his face in this picture! Kenzley also loves it and always asks for her Cohen to help her!
 Looking at the baby chicks.

Here is Camden, Kenzley, Cohen and Jaxon. These guys are the bestest of friends. And I just love them and their mom they are always so much fun to play with!
Checking out all the different farm animals!

This cow was huge, later I found out that she was pregnant!

Here they are playing at a little play area!

After Thanksgiving point me and Camie and her boys had a picnic which was lots of fun! Then we went to Kangaroo Zoo to let the kids play! They had so much fun. Kenzley was everywhere! It's so nice because she can climb up and down everything!

I love how Kenzley's arms are up as she is going down this slide. She always is telling us in the car to put our arms up! Then Cohen is always telling the driver not to because they need to keep their hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road, such funny kids!
