October brings lots of fun things to do. Grandma was so nice to take me and the kids one day to Hotel Transylvania. We really liked it the kids loved it and I thought it was cute and funny! We had a great time Thanks Jaymie!
Kenzley is starting to not want to take her naps even though she still needs to take them. So here she is one day when she fell asleep on the couch!
My brother and sister n law were nice enough to invite us to Gardner Village to see the Witches. Dallas was working late and he doesn't love doing this sort of thing so I thought it was a perfect time for us to go and tag along with them. The kids loved walking around finding all the different witches!
Here we are at our Pumpkin Patch by our house. They have a fun little maze for the kids, a corn pit, animals, a tractor ride, and of course pumpkins. The kids love playing in the corn.
The kids picking out their pumpkins!
The kids wanted to make Halloween cookies with ghosts and bats so here they are decorating their cookies then we passed some out to their friends!
Of course it's time to carve our pumpkins. Cohen did awesome this year he pretty much did his whole pumpkin all by himself!
Halloween day my friend Camie invited us to go trick or treating with her on Main Street. There was a super long line and unfortunately I got sick that day so I was dying but it was Halloween and I will do anything for my kids! They had fun but I think it's such a long walk that they were getting tired but they got lots of candy!
Kenzie and Camden!
Cohen and Jaxon
And look who we ran into it was the highlight of our day! Kenzley was so excited!
The owls mascot took Cohen's sword out and tried to kill him! I told Cohen you need to protect your sword and not let people take it silly boy!
Right after trick or treating on Main Street, Kenzley had seen on tv the pumpkin pizza from papa murphys so we hurried over there picked it up came home and ate a delicious pizza!
My cute little Jessie and crazy Ninja! Cohen was so excited about being a ninja. He changed his mind alot until he thought of being a Ninja and then there was no changing his mind!
Right afterwards it was time to trick or treat all over again! Our friends Tuck and Cisco came over to trick or treat with us and they had a blast together! Aren't they all so cute!
My annual picture of my kids trick or treating at our favorite neighbors house Steve and Nan! Love these guys, you couldn't ask for better neighbors!
Grandma even surprised us and stopped by to see their costumes!
Kenzley loving the whole idea of trick or treating!
Giving hugs!
Most of the gang!
That weekend we had a trip planned for Moab, sadly since I got sick that week and was still sick I decided it was best for me to stay home and not go. Lucky for me I have the best husband ever that he decided to still take the kids without me! I had such mixed emotions about this weekend. I wanted to go so bad because it's probably been a year since we have gone to Moab and gone in the razor. Plus the fact that Dallas has never had the kids without me was a little much for me to swallow but at the same time I was feeling awful. So I packed my family up and waved goodbye to them. Even though Dallas stinks at checking in with me so I didn't get to talk to them near as much as I am use to which was so very hard for me. I wanted to talk to them at least when they woke up, lunch and before bed, but I guess Dad just gets too busy! So it was a hard weekend for me but they had a blast. No accidents the razor ran pretty good and Dallas was an amazing dad!
Dallas cooked them dinner and he even made sure Kenzley's hair was done every day! Such a sweet dad! And he did a really good job!
The whole gang. I was glad to hear alot of the other families brought their kids too so my kids had a blast!
The trip sure wore Kenz out though!
