The bunk beds have finally arrived. I have been researching full size bunk beds for quite awhile now. Since both of my kids had full size beds I knew it was going to be hard to find full size bunk beds because not many furniture stores seem to sale them. And I did not want to settle for anything less and get twins because then I would have had to get new mattress' and bedding so that was not worth it to me. I went to so many stores in utah and salt lake county with no luck. Thank heavens for pinterest I started searching online and came across a website that had a few of them. Also I was being picky because I want these to last till they leave for college. I figure we wont ever have to buy beds again and since I was having another girl it worked out great because Kenz doesn't have her own bedroom set and I wanted white beds for my girls and now I have them! So I found some and we picked this set and I could not be happier with them! I will have to get a better after photo on the next blog but I had to get a picture of them installing the beds. A big thanks to Jono also, he is one of the best friends we could ask for he is always so willing to help with things like this that I'm sure most people would not want to but he is so helpful so thank you Jono for all your help it does not go unnoticed!
Monday for Memorial day we went boating with our friends Tylor and Abby and their boys. Sadley for us the weather was not boating weather and it was quite windy so we floated in the marina area but honestly it still was so much fun to be floating on a boat soaking up the sun!
Cohen and Kenz started swim lessons this week and I could not be prouder! Kenz was really nervous because last year me and her did the mommy and me class so this year she was scared to go in by herself but for some reason that day she changed her mind and was so happy. She even listened to the teacher and did everything she was suppose to I was so proud of her!
Also it was funny when I walked in I saw my friend Marilyn and her two kids which are both good friends with mine so Kenz and Lily are in the same class which has probably helped a ton. Plus it's fun hanging out with Marilyn!
Cohen is doing really great too! He is becoming such a little swimmer!
Walking to swim lessons holding hands. I love when these two are sweet to each other so I had to capture the moment!
Cohen's 3rd race. Of course like the past few race nights it wasn't great weather. It started out okay but then it got rainy and colder and made the track a little harder. But that did not stop Cohen he did amazing. I am so proud of him. It's been a crazy journey with him and racing. Last year he took last place pretty much every time and this year one race he will be amazing and then another time he might be a turtle but last night was amazing. He did not let the crappy track get to him. He took 2nd twice in the Pee Wee shaft class and 4th twice in the Pee Wee 4-6. He did awesome I cannot say enough how proud I am of him!
Cohen and Jaxon getting ready to race!
Me and Kenz cheering Cohen on! I love how she has Buzz zipped up in her hoodie! Silly girl!
Here is the storm that went over us. It was really beautiful and my camera does not do it justice!
The kids showing off their trophies. It was a great night!
And I love these little side kicks they are such good sports to come and sit through hours of not great weather cheering on their brothers! Love it!
