It's always a fun time going out to dinner with all these kiddos. The kids had a race in St. George the day after Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful dinner at Dallas' mom's house and I need to find the pictures but they must be on Dallas' phone. But we had a great dinner and time with our family. We visited and played some games. During dinner sadly Kenzley started complaining that she had a toothache. We gave her some medicine and said as soon as we got back from St. George we would get her into the dentist. We made our way down to St. George and that night Kenz just felt awful. Well the next morning she woke up and her cheek was Huge and I mean Huge. Her cheek was swollen and her gums. Of course we couldn't find a dentist that was opened on Thanksgiving weekend and luckily Dallas is high school friends with our dentist, so he called him and our dentist called in a prescription to help with her tooth. Well the poor thing could barely even wear her helmet because he cheek was so big so she ended up only racing 3 out of the 4 races the whole weekend. Kenzley was pretty miserable. Besides the toothache we had a great time down in St. George. The weather was amazing and the company fabulous as always. Plus it is always nice to swim in the pool down there. Sadly I didn't get as many pictures because I was too busy having fun!
One of the nights while I was getting the kids ready for bed there was a knock at our door. We answered it and there stood Santa Claus. He came in and gave the kids a hug and quickly talked to them because he was on his way somewhere. The kids were thrilled that Santa stopped by to check on them!
We finally got Kenzley into the dentist and all is well now but she definitely is one tough chick!
One night I took the kids to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point.
Another day we went up to the Festival of Trees. I absolutely love going and seeing all the trees. It's so fun to see all the different themes and the stories with them.
I think my kids favorites this year were all the super hero trees.
And of course Frozen
The gingerbread houses were amazing!
One night I made a nice dinner and as I'm sitting there eating I realize it's just me and four kids!
We of course had to go check out the Christmas lights at Temple Square. My dad and Celeste had Kenzley over for a sleepover the night before for her birthday so then we met them in Salt Lake the next night to look at the lights. Of course it was super crowded but it sure was nice not being super cold.
Afterwards we couldn't find a place to eat because everywhere was so crowded so we drove down to Italian Village it is one of our favorite restaurants.
Afterwards we stopped in Draper to see the Tree of Life it was pretty cool!
