Oh Happy Days!

We finally closed on our new house!!!! After almost four since we put in our offer and trying to get this mortgage done and then waiting and waiting for all this meticulous stuff that they wanted done which was so frustrating and annoying, we got the keys! It has definitely been a stressful couple of months wondering are we going to get this house are we going to close, when will it happen. I am so glad that for the most part it's over with. We are doing some work inside the house like painting the kids bedrooms and then we are also out of town for the next couple weeks so we wont be moving anytime soon but I am so relieved to know it's ours! For those of you that don't already know we are moving to Saratoga Springs and can't wait to start our new adventure! We have absolutely loved Springville and will miss our friends and neighbors dearly but are excited to move!
Eating dinner the first night on the island while Dad gets the rooms ready!
Cohen had his first race and I am beyond proud of this kid. He has excelled and is doing awesome. Here are a few pictures of him jumping this double. He was one of the only kids that was jumping it. Also the classes he is racing in this year is the 7-8 year olds because his front tire is too big to race in the 4-6 class. At first I was really nervous about it thinking he was going to get killed because a couple of years makes a huge difference but he rocked it! He took 6th and 5th in the 7-8 class out of 17 kids and 5th and 5th out of the pee wee open and I think there was 12 kids. He did great and it was so fun to cheer him on.

Cohen also had quite the fan club come out to support him. My mom came, Dad and Celeste, Cj and Jackson and Jaymie! He is one lucky kid to have so many people come and support him!
Kenzley recently has done a complete 180. We had signed her up to race and she told us she wanted to and then a couple weeks ago she decided not to do it anymore, she would rather do gymnastics. She says dance is easier than dirtbiking. Which is fine it's just crazy how different she is now and how fast she changed her mind. She wants nothing to do with dirtbiking anymore. She says she will do it for fun but has yet to get back on her bike. I think the last time she rode she got scared and now doesn't want to do it. Luckily since she isn't into it Jaymie is nice enough to watch the girls during some practices and she will take them home early so they aren't stuck out late all the time and I can stay to watch Cohen. I am so appreciative of her help! Kenzley also likes to play with dolls now. It will be interesting to see how much more changes in her.

This is the spot where Cohen would pass the other kids. This picture shows how high and well he jumps. That kid is jumping it like most the other kids and Cohen is flying over them! It's awesome and terrifying all at the same time!

Dallas said there were 41 peewees this year. It has definitely gotten more popular in the past three years! It has been an absolute blast. I have loved coming to these races and meeting everyone here. Everyone is so friendly and nice and willing to help. One of the friends we have met here, her husband was unable to come but she brought her son anyways and it was so cool to see all the dad's step up and help her unload the bike, and help her son out on the track. It is very cool to see everyone come together! It's fun to get to know everyone! This has been a great experience and I can't wait to keep coming. I love my little motocross family!
